This beautiful snake bracelet has a single coil and is made from carved buffalo horn. It has two small mother-of-pearl eyes and some hand-carved designs near the head and tail, in good condition. Snakes in many cultures symbolize sexuality, eternal love, regeneration, and protection.

The legend accompanying this bracelet is that the snake is Alas, a spirit that escorts those who attempt to pass the dangerous Sumatra's rivers.
